Sterifast Approved Chemical Indicator Type 6 (I6)
The Chemical Indicator Type 6 (Emulator) is a steam sterilization process indicator designed to validate the correct operation of the three critical sterilization parameters: temperature, time, and steam. Compliant with the ISO 11140-1 standard, the indicator changes color from its initial state to a defined target color when exposure conditions are met, allowing sterilization personnel to visually confirm whether a load has been correctly processed. The indicator is intended for use within CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) workflows, placed inside packages prior to sterilization and reviewed upon completion of the cycle.
